The serum concentration of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β), vascular endothelial growth factor alpha (VEGF-α), ａnd interleukin-17 (IL-17A) were measured using a commercial enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit (Shanghai Jinma Biological Technology, Inc., China) following the manufacture’s instruction.
